Delia Gonçalves is the Vice President of External Affairs at COMTO, leading communications, marketing, and media engagement. Before joining COMTO, Delia spent 24 years in the broadcast journalism industry, the last 14 years as one of the most respected reporters-anchors in Washington, DC. Delia's dedication to advocating for those in underserved communities and holding the powerful accountable earned her six regional Emmy Awards, two Associated Press Awards, and two National Association of Black Journalists' Salute to Excellence Awards. In March 2024, Delia was honored by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser as a Washington Woman of Excellence for her community advocacy.

 

 

Performance by the renowned jazz musician Marcus Johnson

Marcus Johnson is an alto saxophonist rising through the ranks of the Smooth jazz scene. As a product of the great musical city of Nashville, Tennessee, Marcus developed his passion for music at a young age by beginning to play the saxophone at the age of 10. Nashville’s wide range of musical styles and traditions inspired him to develop a unique sound that draws from jazz, R&B, funk, blues, soul and gospel.

Marcus Johnson is an independent Billboard-ranked musician, NAACP Image Award nominee, owner of FLO Brands and FLO Wine, JD and MBA, philanthropist, father, friend... and so much more!
